Below is a list of the cabinets which have been installed by Gigaclear in Essex under the Superfast Essex programme providing ultrafast fibre broadband speeds of 50Mbps and above. So far, this list will only include cabinets which have been upgraded under the Rural Challenge Project in Epping Forest District. Phase 3 cabinet areas will be added to the list once confirmed. All cabinets are listed in alphabetical order by Community Cabinet Area name and indicate the date from when all properties in that area are able to access an ultrafast broadband service on the Gigaclear network, or the date when the service is expected to be available if work is currently underway.
Find out which cabinet you’re connected to by entering your address in the Gigaclear postcode checker.
If your community cabinet area is listed below you can now upgrade to an ultrafast broadband service on the Gigaclear network. However, nobody is automatically connected to the faster service when it arrives! You need to contact one of the broadband service providers listed on the Gigaclear website and ask to switch or buy a fibre broadband service on the Gigaclear network.
Only the cabinets which have been upgraded as a result of the Superfast Essex programme are listed below. Cabinets which have been upgraded as a result of commercial plans are not listed, however you can still check if you can access a fibre broadband service from Gigaclear by checking the Gigaclear postcode checker or speaking to one of the broadband providers listed on the Gigaclear website at the links above.
This list will be updated weekly as new Community Cabinet Areas become live and ultrafast broadband services are available. The information on the interactive rollout map is updated monthly. If your cabinet is not listed below then check the interactive rollout map to see the current status for your property.
